Four IPAs in the fridge

February 18, 2011

From left to right:

Peak Organic IPA: From Maine, made with Simcoe, Amarillo and Nugget hops. It beats it’s West Coast rival Eel River IPA hands down.

Bell’s HopSlam: 10% alcohol with amazing hop aroma. It’s expensive as hell, it’s only available in February, and I have to fight people for it, but I manage to get one case a year. My parents drove this case all the way from Michigan the day it hit store shelves- it was my favorite Christmas present.

Southern Tier 2IPA: um, nothing much to say. Good price, but pretty inferior to most double IPAs out there.

Green Flash West Coast IPA: Pretty much my go-to beer, and has been for years. It beats the San Diego rivals. A citrus hop bomb.
