Philly Bike Race 2010

June 2, 2010

Lemon Hill 2009

It’s almost the first Sunday in June so it’s time once again for the Corestates/Wachovia/First Union/Commerce Bank/Manayunk Wall/Philly bike race, or whatever the heck you care to call it. Oh wait, it’s still called the TD Bank Philadelphia International Cycling Championship.

Like last year I’ll be stationed on Lemon Hill. Biker Brad will once again bring his turntables and power generator, and this year I’m hauling out my full gas grill and large cooler –  no more tiny “Igloo-only-holds-a-12-pack” stuff.

If you see me on my new ride from the previous post be sure to say Hi.

If you’re crazy enough to get up at 6 am on a weekend you can ride the course. Oh, and there’s a new name for this one too: The 2010 Philadelphia Int’l Cycling Championship AstraZeneca Wellness Challenge.

Rolls right off the tongue, don’t it?
